A Couple of New Features to Talk About

Casetracker123 and Casetrackerlaw have been very busy with innovative new ideas and implementing them into the system. We are always looking to improve all ready great and amazing software.

We’ve interfaced with Global Connect in order to put a Call Center right into your system. You can make thousands of phone calls a day by creating and scheduling your own broadcast. You have the option to send it out whenever you want, with specific criteria or by timezone. Then the results of those calls are transferred to the systems notes section.

Timesheets & Billing – This feature has always been in the Casetrackerlaw system however, in conjunction with the law firm, Cloud & Tidwell out of Birmingham, AL, this department has undergone an extensive renovation. We have produced a timesheet and billing department with tons of options that is linked to the trust account. One of the most innovative and state of the art billing systems you have ever seen. It is simply a dream come true for any law firm to be able to bill this way.

Process Server – Electronically send your claims to a process server and get results back electronically. A huge savings! Most software companies charge you a specific rate or fee for this process. With Casetracker123 and Casetrackerlaw, it’s all inclusive.

New Feature Update - Gross Amount

During the last several years we have found firms distribute money a hundred different ways.

Casetrackerlaw has evolved into a system that will allow you to take fees, costs, interest, expenses, add old interest, calculate interest and do just about anything one’s imagination can conceive.

The latest feature we added this week was “gross amount”. I will explain briefly how this works.
The debtor pays you and you either send the check directly to the creditor or deposit into your trust account (without taking out your fees). In many cases the creditor may ACH the money directly from the account. Or you submit the gross amount along with an invoice for your fees, costs, etc. Now you wait for your money to arrive and hope you don’t have to collect from your client.

This method is not one of the favorites of most clients we know, but for certain circumstances you may not have a choice.

In order for this money not to show up on your remittance report and make the proper adjustment throughout the system was a task within itself, but as usual CasetrackerLaw has evolved to adjust for this new feature.

You will find this little feature in the "paid to" drop-down menu in the "payments" tab of money received. If you have any question about this feature and how it works please call our office for details.

Again thanks goes to the law firm of Yates and Schiller in Boca Raton, FL for this latest feature suggestion.

Tri-Level Trust Accounting

CasetrackerLaw has a very extensive trust accounting system. The system complies with the tough standard in Massachusetts and a few other states (not certain of the names) referred to as tri-level accounting. Now… just what does that mean? Want to read the entire text? You can find it at one of our sites www.locate123.com. We will talk about locate123 at a later time. For now click the link located at the bottom of the page, Managing Clients’ Funds and Avoiding Ethical Problems . (a must read)

Our systems keep track of all monies, expenses, etc… per claim, next the system keeps track for all the monies for the creditor or client, next all the monies for the firm or system. You have the ability to interface with quick books, upload or download. Remember we can interface and move data quickly. If you need to move data from point A to point B at the speed of light, just call us.

Keeping proper accounting for a client is very simple. You now have the option for the creditor to view the accounting or commonly referred to as the cost ledger. We have given you the (host) the option to choose what your creditor/client can view. (a hot new feature)

For those who want transparency, you will find casetrackerLaw gives you this and much more. Visit the video library at www.info123.info and watch the movie about trust accounting.

For those who have not seen the movie of attorney Julie Yates discussing the iPhone and CasetrackerLaw, it has been one of our hottest movies yet. You can view the feature movie at www.casetrackerlaw.com.

“You can’t beat the system”

Have a good day and come back tomorrow.
